During the monsoon we all need to pay attention to our skin and hair as it can react to humidity and dampness present in the atmosphere. If you suddenly notice oily skin and acne blast on your face, then don’t worry. That’s due to the extreme humidity and heat. It’s these reasons why we set out to try oil-free products for our skin or hair care range which is specially designed for the monsoon season to control the unruly frizzy hair.
One such product that I tried recently was the Organic Harvest Monsoon Sunscreen SPF 30 and the Hair Spa for Dry and Damage hair.
In this blog I will be talking about Organic Harvest Monsoon Sunscreen. A unique combination of UVA/UVB filters in advanced organic formula works synergistically against harmful effects of UV rays, especially during monsoon. It provides log term hydration and enables the formation of an invisible sun protecting layer reflecting the rays.
All my teenager life I have been battling with oily and combination skin. Over the years it has now become more of a combination skin that oily, but the battle continues. It isn’t easy to find that perfect skin care cream especially during the monsoon season which can protect your skin and keep it oil free as well. Having said that, the Organic Harvest cream took me by surprise. Especially with a product which is largely chemical free.
I have used multiple products over the years, from gels, to creams to chemical free to organic products but nothing comes close to the results I’ve got with Organic Harvest. Does it completely matte your skin, well the answer is NO, but it does control the oil to a large extent. And what really impressed me is that a small amount is all you need. I have been using it for 10 days now on my face, neck and hands. When you first apply it, it could feel a big to heavy on the skin, the kind where you know and feel that you’ve applied something on your face. But over a few days I realised that the cream, being a sun screen as well, layers over your skin to act as a true protector (my warrior cream LOL) But for those who prefer a more higher application, a more gel like feel, this may not be the right choice for you.
Final Verdict: All-in-all if your looking for a organic composition to your sunscreen this monsoon, give Organic Harvest a try.
How to use: Apply liberally and evenly on face, neck and exposed areas of the skin 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. For best result, reapply frequently.
