Lara Dutta former Miss Universe winner and yoga enthusiast has been appointed by Westin Hotels and Resorts to be their Wellness Advocate for India for the Wellness Movement launched by the brand earlier this year.
The avid traveller and health advocate was also a UN Goodwill Ambassador for a decade, and recently launched her own line of prenatal yoga and fitness H.E.A.L. DVDs.
In Asia Pacific, Westin partners with wellness experts to develop exclusive contents such as wellness tips, yoga tutorials and a guide book on discovering well-being in travel to inspire its guests and associates to discover wellness. These wellness experts, also known as the Westin brand well-being advocates are: Waka Nozawa, Japanese top model and acclaimed yoga instructor; Yin Yan, co-founder of Yogi Yoga institute of China. Sarah Wilson, author of the New York Times bestseller “I Quit Sugar” was also part of this partnership last year.
